Whatever we chose to put in this central space would be experienced in the round. We wanted to create a space to draw people in – and a surprise, a place worth exploring. We have built 20 identical arcs. The placing and the colouring of the arcs is informal but highly contrived. Wherever you choose to stand you will only see a few of the colours. The result is close to a conjuring trick and creates a change of mood as the whole space seems suddenly re-decorated in a different hue.
