It was hard for the students (who had interviewed and appointed us) to imagine what the new BSF school buildings would be like. So we all made a giant model of the new buildings and from this began to think how the public art contribution might fit into the picture. Our first proposal was rejected out of hand by the students. BunchedUpBench fared better.  It is for sitting on and it will be brought alive when students sit, recline, lie and play on it. It starts at the front of the school – but appears to dive underground and re-emerge in the outdoor dining space. Made from about 1km of stainless-steel strip.
